part of the reason this pen is overworked is our starters dont go deep...tonight they could've had part of 7 or 7 for Burnes and he was pulled at 85 pitches...Kimbrel was fine.but it moves every pitcher up an inning

When you have a number of relief pitchers who can be very effective but can be ineffective, aren't you increasing the risk of giving up runs by exposing more relievers, each for short, often three-batter stints?
