But life must be perfect when you’re talking about baseball. We hate people that don’t know every tiny detail about the financial movements of a franchise and every minor-league players vital statistics. Of course, some of us have families and lives and other things going on too.

Oh, the things I miss when I’m gone for a bit…

I have a question or two: it was suggested that works in progress are for the off-season and for spring, and NOT for the regular season. I agree. So why pick this guy up? He has a terrible track record.

If he’s going to Norfolk or Bowie so he can train up, that’s fine, and renders the  furor completely moot, except for those like me who wish Mike would do something meaningful.

Is he going on the 26-man roster? He hasn’t yet, but I’ve been occupied elsewhere and haven’t checked.
