Sunday Afternoon May 26th: Orioles at White Sox going for the four game sweep. (Start of game to be delayed by rain)

I don’t want to sound like the prophets of doom, but after two innings, this game has no hitter written all over it.

Let’s hope they pull him after five, because then we’ll have four innings to do our damage.

Gonna have to try and work the counts. Get this pitch count up. Hays swinging at stuff a foot outside.

Already doing it.  He's already throwing about 15 pitches per inning.  If we can keep that up, he'll only go six.

Just have to avoid all the first pitch swinging we've been doing.

Well the good news is the strikeouts are driving the pitch count up. Doubt he goes more than 6.

He has 57.2 innings in 11 starts... so he barely averages over 5 innings a start.

Can we at least try and work a count? Only chance is to run this guys pitch count up. He's already over his max IP in his career

Dude has an ERA of 3.45 and a FIP of 3.14.  He's good but this ain't prime Pedro.

He does look nasty, especially to lefties. Gonna need the righties to step up.

We are working the count.   Every single batter has gone to 2 strikes (and 5 of the 6 have gone to 3 strikes).   The only ball we put into play was Adley and it was on the 6th pitch of the at bat and it was strike 3

We've only swung at 3 pitches outsize the zone.  And two of those were with two strikes, where you have to expand the zone a bit.

Not much more we can do to "work the count" that we already haven't done.

Just commenting that going firward in this game we are going to have to work the counts. Something we are not good at. And of course Georgie swings first pitch groundout.
