Gerrit's afternoon is done - 57 pitches on his 60 pitch target day.

This stuff is so scientifically precise that even though Gerrit Cole struck out 2 straight AA hitters in the 5th inning he was not allowed to face the third guy 2 out and nobody on.

Oh, good.  DeLuca's playing again today. 

Lowe didn't try to leap and catch any homers that cleared the wall by twenty feet yesterday, and I really missed that.

i get the impression that Grayson intentionally isn't trying to throw 100 as he often did last year.  ibet we see Jones and Skenes throttle back too for injury prevention.
