Looks like rain coming through at 7:30 so probably affraid to start then have a delay and starters only can go few innings and tax bullpen more in DH.

It is somewhat funny that this is affecting a game that was already rained out two months ago.  It's like the gods themselves don't want this game to ever happen.

The first game was the rainout.  This is the regularly scheduled game.

Probably less about the rain than a fast moving storm w/electricity….more of a crowd safety issue than wet weather.

Rained hard for about 20 min. Seems to be letting up now.

Neither team wants to have a starting pitcher go an inning or two and then have to sit and not be able to come back out and have to use 7 innings of bullpen.

Also, the storm (which has gone through) was pretty damn vicious and they knew it would be.
