So sloppy D by Holliday but got the out, good play by Urias.

The TV guy just said that Urias would have better defense with more consistent playing time and that is probably true, because it gives him a chance to get back to being as good as he has been.

The problem with Holliday is that he’s just not good on defense And trading defense for offense is never a good idea.

Burch was good until they went to the well for a 3rd time in a row yesterday

Now to next Sunday is the worst of the grind.

Next week the last 7-game week - this is the last long stretch of no off days.

Next Sunday night against the Astros we are down to 5 weeks, and the clubs will get the 14th pitcher most of that time.

Whether it is Povich, Young, or Webb getting back, this is about the last week of the season Burch 3 out of 4 days should need to happen.

I don’t think he’s in the conversation. At least not right now. Two horse race between Judge and Witt.

Gunnar needs to have a monster finish to get back in the race. He’s capable.

No Soto?

I'm not saying Gunnar is going to win it, but he's going to keep his name in the conversation.

Witt and Judge both have fWaR of 8.7…2 full wins clear of Gunnar.  He’s not close to them now.
