2025 international “J2” class (Jan 15-Dec 15 2025)

MLB Pipeline has released its top 50 ranking for next year’s J2 class.

I did some searching to see who has been connected to which teams.  It doesn’t look like a great showing for the Orioles, who only have # 46 - Jose Pena.  Keep in mind that the Orioles have recently had a lot of success with $400-$600k bonuses in a notch below the top tier.

There are still two that I have as question marks; please help fill in if you know.  Note that Royelny Strop is the son of former Orioles legend Pedro Strop.

I looks nice when you get the higher ranked guys but it hasn’t worked out that way for us the last few years.   Braylin Tavera, Luis Almeyda, and Emilio Sánchez were, I believe, our top ranked guys the last 3 years but it appears in hindsight that none are now the best Oriole prospects from their signing respective signing class.
