ALCS: Angels vs Yankees

The Angels have had good success over the Yankees but the same could be said for the Redsox vs the Angels and that turned out great for them:eek:.

I imagine the match ups would be these:

Lackey vs Sabbathia

Weaver vs Burnett

Kazmir vs Pettitte

Both teams have offense and pitching. I think this should be a great series though I hope the Yankees choke.

My pick Angels in 6.

I said this in another thread, oughtta be a GREAT series! Great pitching on both sides, and it'll be all WELL rested by the time they start. And two great offenses.

Starting 4 hour playoff games at 10pm is a joke!

Selig has got to be run out of town.

The Angels really think they are on a mission this year, they have had the Yanks number for the last decade, and just exorcised their demons by sweeping the Sox.

That being said, these are two very talented teams who will be rested (rusty). Angels in 6 with Weaver getting the MVP and dedicating it to his late friend- Nick Adenhart.

The Angels match-up really well against the Yankees when they are batting.

The problem is, if LAA doesn't pitch well the Yanks will just out-slug them.

Unfortunately, I think this is going to be a very tough series for the Angles to pull through... Angles pitching has to come up big to shut the Skanks down...

Surprisingly (or perhaps not ) all the Espn anayalsts picked NY to win the series. I would of that it to be much more even a distrubtion as the teams match up well.
