WWWWWOOOAAHHHH!!!!! Way to go Nick! First RBI of the season! Somebody go grab that ball.

In all seriousness...was that so friggin' hard to do? That's all you need to do - you have a runner on third with less than 2 outs' date=' hit it hard and in the air.[/quote']

Yeah but its easier to just stand there and strike out. Not trying to work that hard. Still get paid right? Whats his incentive?

Pie hurt his shoulder running the bases? What?!?

No, he hurt it in the at-bat. Swung way too hard at a curve ball and it was obvious when it happened that he wasn't too thrilled with how it felt.

But that drama queen hung right in there, took a walk and went all the way around the bases to score us a run.

Everybody bashes Pie when he makes a mistake on the bases, so he should get some credit for a pretty nice piece of baserunning getting to 3rd on that bloop by Jones. He got a great read on the ball, identifying immediately that it was gonna be beyond the 2B and infront of the RF. Him getting to 3B on that play nets us our first run of the game.

Hopefully he didn't hurt himself too bad on the swing. He's been our best position player so far this year by a pretty wide margin. Wieters is a fairly distant second, and I don't think anybody can even qualify for 3rd.
