I don't know, winning like 19/20 games at the end of the season to squeak into the playoffs, making it to the world series for the first time. Sounds like a great season to me, think about how ecstatic we would be if that happened!

Yeah, I do feel for them too. But like square said, they made a great run and had a great season, so they should be proud of that.

If not for the long break in between the NLCS and World Series, I think the Rockies would've swept the Red Sox in four straight. Just my two cents.

Well, we've been there, done that. It was unbearable. I honestly couldn't BELIEVE that they actually made us go to school the next day, I thought it should have been some sort of Day of Mourning or something.

Yes, Josh Beckett certainly does seem to be one of those fellows who thinks his success comes because God loves him more than everybody else, but we'll never actually know how the Rockies would have fared against him in Game 1 without an 8-day layoff, will we?
