Natty Boh back in Oriole Park!

The Raven special lager and Heavy Seas Marzen are totally different beers.

The Raven beer was created by Steve Demczuk and owned by his LLC Baltimore Beer Works. They contract brew through Heavy Seas, but that's as far as it goes. It even has a different distributor locally. (I work with one of the original partners from Baltimore Beer Works, and Steve is a friend of our store).

Heavy Seas Marzen used to be Clipper City Balti Marz Hon, until Hugh took the beer national and streamlined the brand:

Clipper City Pale and Gold ales became Heavy Seas Pale and Gold.

McHenry became Heavy Seas Classic Lager.

Baltimarz Hon Became Heavy Seas Marzen.

Hope that clears it up.

EDIT: Duffman seems pretty sure. I'm going to get to the bottom of it.

I knew I wasn't crazy!

I never had til one of the Hangout pre-games last year. It's pretty decent for what it is.

I'm a beer snob, so I'm not expecting much. But Yeungling is solid so if it's anything like that like someone mentioned then I'll be happy with it relative to its cost.

Anyone who thinks that Natty Boh is in the same category as cheap, watery beer has never had it on tap. It is understandable because it hasn't been on tap in the region for some time before its recent revival, but it is actually surprisingly good from a tap.

I recently had it on Cross Street and I was shocked. It was really crisp.

I know! It tastes so much better, I honestly did not think it would be that different it was almost shocking.

I'm going to take your word on it here because it takes horrible out of a can.
