Andino looked pretty good on that. Roberts wouldnt of got within five feet of that ball and even if he did he would of had a concussion after the dive and miss six months.

I have to say, the boys didn't quit tonight. Not only that, we are one bad call from the home plate umpire to being an 8-6 game (Simon was robbed of a 3-pitch strikeout to Berkman, who then hit a solo home run on a 3-2 count).

Still does not come even close to making up for dogging it down the line. I would prefer he NOT make that double play, give up first and third with one out. Instead, I would have preferred our chance with the tying run up and two outs with Hardy coming up.

I believe it was Lucky Jim that first made the comparisons between Dempsey and the Greg Stink character on SNL. I think of it darn near everytime I have to listen to that clown.
