Our offense is just pitiful. Take away that laugher we had last week and our RPG average this mont is ish.

All season long, we have lived by the homerun. That is how our offense is built. We don't have many hitters for average, speed for stolen bases etc. We have power hitters.

Really. Aside from Markakis spraying hits around, Thome's approach, and occasional homers from the rest of the crew, there's never anything to watch. It's ultimately an unintelligent, boring lineup. I understand the objections, but we do need someone like Juan Pierre to stir things up, to provide what B-Rob used to.
