Certain members of this team seem like they are COMPLETELY out of gas and won't be competitive major league players until next season at the very earliest (and even then, who knows; they may never be ML material again in their lives). They're picking an awful time to falter when we need wins so badly.

I'd bring up Norfolk and take my chances. The guys who have been in the majors all season, shut them down. Chen. Gonzo. Strop. Ayala. Hardy. Let them rest. Let the kids win, or at least die trying. The guys who've been there for us all season, are like Old Yeller. It's sad, and we love them, but we have to put them down.
