To be fair, and I know the 'stros have been playing better of late, but if you're on a losing team it might be a good idea to run your closer out more often in non-close situations just to get them work.

I hate whole concept of the save rule and the role of closers, FWIW, just trying to think of it from the managers perspective, and why what looks like a progressive move might not be one at all.
