I agree with you. They’ve just shown us absolutely no reason to believe they’re suddenly going to wake up. Rather, they’re falling further asleep. Even if we only have to win three games, I’m not sure we can do it. Getting a single win somehow feels impossible right now. Hell getting a single RUN feels impossible in most of these games, and these depleted ass lineups are getting worse and worse. -

I just hope Elias doesn’t see what happened this year and continue to block younger players with middling vet players all in the name of depth. -

Can’t fire the players. Something has to change. We’ve been terrible offensively since the Yankees game where we put up 15. If we started the season like this, Hyde would have gotten fired. I think he’s gone in the offseason, unless we turn things around. I hope we turn it around. If not, we’ll need to bring in a Dusty Baker/Ron Washington type. -
And, no, Hyde is absolutely not on the hot seat. He will get the injury excuse for this year. He’s almost as untouchable as Teflon John Harbaugh. -
I have to think something is going on behind the scenes. They look like they have just quit. Hyperbole, I know, but I wonder if there is anxiety over new ownership wanting their own people in the FO? Before you all tear me apart, IT’S JUST AN OBSERVATION!

Some don’t like this quote from Hyde but this kind of goes back to what the hitting coaches are saying. The coaches (if we are to believe them) are preparing these guys but once they get in the box, things are changing. This is all mental with these guys. It is time for them to relax and start having fun again. They need a players only team meeting and get themselves loosened up.
