So, Gausman makes one start in AAA, shows the same issues (of missing in the middle of the plate and seeing those mistakes hammered), yet he's called back up and is among the relievers?

Now, maybe the Orioles have decided that for now his stuff works better one time through an order, but it seems a bit strange to take a top prospect like this and use him as a reliever. It's even more strange if they put him back in the rotation. Regardless, it sure will be interesting to see how this all shakes out.

It seems to work well for the Cardinals... both Wainwright and Lynn worked out great as middle/late relievers first and then starters next. They appear to be doing the same thing with Rosenthal too...

Extremely confusing. Isn't there another pitcher on the 40-man that could have received the call up at this point?

They did that with Bundy last year (obviously in a limited capacity.)

I dunno... I just wanted Garcia gone. He just doesn't have the stuff.
