I'm AWESOME psyched about Zach right now! Pitching freaking great! Chen doing well almost becomes a problem. :P

Exactly....and Feldman. Let's face it, one could argue that we didn't exactly throw our best starters in this series, but they came through pretty well. We're going to New York in really good shape.

I think we may have the Yankees number this year. Throwing Gonzo, Tillman and Hammel versus Nova, Pettite and Hughes. I like those match-ups. We've hit Nova well in the past, Pettitte hasn't been that great this year and Hughes, well, you just never know what you're gonna get, we'll just have to see about Hammel.

We should be at least 15 games over IMO. Way too many bad losses against bad teams and bad pitchers. We have no problem with good teams, but loads of trouble vs. bad teams. That's good news for the playoffs, but if you can't beat bad teams you're probably not making the playoffs.

Patience Grasshopper.

Grasshopper: Master, how is it that you can see these things?

Master: Grasshopper, how is it that you cannot?

Pettitte is like 89-3 against us lifetime.

Pettitte is like 89-3 against us lifetime.

27-6 with an E.R.A. of 3.52, and a W.H.I.P. of 1.378.

Also, he isn't having a very good season, especially in his last 9 starts.

What he has done against us before 2013 may not matter a lot.

For a long time the Yanks were a lock to score 3.53 runs a game against the O's.

This current Yankee offense?

Glad I didn't get to watch this one...ouch.

Regardless if the other team pitched well, you have to beat these teams on the road when you get the opportunity.

We tend to make pitchers look better than they are by swinging at balls and other poor pitches out of the zone. The best hitters on this team are really feast or famine and that's not good for consistency.

Ehhh, Scott ...... Do you want to "Bring on them Skanks" ???

BRING IT ON, Skanks! :angryfire:

Or do you want to sit there and be in awe of a 42 year-old pitcher (and an entire team, for that matter) that has been, and continues to be very beatable?

Pettitte is like 89-3 against us, lifetime.

I'll choose the former.

More significantly, I think that the Oriole players will choose the former, as well.

Pettitte doesn't scare me like he used to. He's like almost as old as me now. And that's freakin OLD! :P
