With the way TB is playing us continuing to play mediocre and tread water, best we can hope for is to hold off Tex for 2nd WC. This team just isn't good enough to go on a long run and we are running out of season.

Dempster sucks. If we can't get at least 3 runs off of him that's bad. But it would be just another mediocre pitcher we couldn't hit... Chen, Guthrie, Dempster...

2.95 ERA. 1.16 WHIP. Dempster is to be feared.

That is where we lose out. Boston has to only win one out of three to drop only one game to us in standings.

Better. Not quite there yet though. How about the way we're hitting so far won't get the job done but we still have 18 outs to work with so you never know what can happen?
