And now ALL the umps are getting into the act. Frickin umps hazing rookies!

Hoes could have cemented a place in Orioles fans hearts by just going ballistic on that dbag call, throwing his helmet down the line, kicking dirt, pulling out the base, etc.

I really think this team's offense starts with Davis and Machado..when they slump..we slump..

They aren't slumping, they are regressing to the mean. Neither of them were as good as they were hitting. Much like Iglesias for Boston, who was batting .430 for 200 AB's and has lost .100 points off his average and its still falling.

Lol. 9 pitch inning. 16 pitches seen the last 2 innings. 1 measly single against a pitcher with a 4.50 ERA, and nothing the last 9 batters.

This offense is a complete joke. Yet another disappearing act early in the game. Yet another disappearing act against a terrible pitcher. Yet another inning where we can't score with a RISP and less than 2 outs.

You can complain about Hammel all you want, but the offense is why we are going to be 1-5 in our last 6 games. A 6 game stretch where we've faced Chen, Dempster, Lester, and Guthrie who are all pitchers with ERA's near 4.5.

Too many holes on this team to win the division this year. Some good breaks, timely performances and a little magic carried the O's last year but the roster as presently constructed won't compensate for it this year.

I realize not every team can have a true "#1 starter" but a contender sure can't afford two #5s. Add to that an unproductive DH slot in the lineup and this team will make it interesting until the beginning of Sept and then they will fall off.
