I don't know if those moves make the team better.

I agree. Not really excited about making sideways moves at the trade deadline. If Duquette is going to do something, I'd like to see something that is a clear improvement over what we have.

Ha ha, bad move.

Kurt Suzuki to Os hopefully:)

I still want a back end reliever.

You have to think this makes Suzuki cheaper. So maybe the price for Suzuki and Perkins together is potentially something reasonable.

It's been says they want a lefty that can get righties out as well. Andrew Miller would be the perfect guy. Try to get a real 2B as well (virtually anything is an upgrade). Aaron Hill is availeble and could be a low risk/high reward guy but idk about that contract.

2B should be upgraded instead of catcher because Caleb has started to hit better, and the catching position has been more productive for a while now offensively. Joseph's defensive metrics are also much better than Schoop's which are very good in their own right. The pitching is too good right now to mess with the catchers again.

Shouldn't cost us any of the big 3 or EdRod.

No thanks on Hill...that contract and his production make him a no go for me.

If your going to upgrade 2B then go after Utley. He is an impact player. If you can't get him without giving up Bundy/KG/Harvey then....

Get Suzuki to upgrade the C position. He is having a great year and there is no commitment with him beyond this season. Molina will be back and the Cards signed the AJP so the market for catchers is not as congested. Think you could get him cheap and transition him in. I like CJ and Hundley but Suzuki even if backslides some is better significantly better than those two.

Hill is on fire lately.

Might be a solid buy low candidate because he's just now turning his season around.

Also wondering what it would take to get Suzuki.

Does minny have any other solid relievers besides Perkins that wouldn't cost so much and could be had for a decent package to the twins?

I know dozier isn't available, but man would he be an incredible fit with us.

Maybe we give up schoop, bundy, berry, ed rod, yaz or walker + for dozier, Suzuki and Perkins?

Any chance at all that would fly? Deplete our system too much?

It would definitely make us immediate World Series contenders IMO.

None of those guys is worth Bundy IMO

If you could trade Schoop and Erod and a throw in for Dozier you make the deal.

Suzuki is only a marginal upgrade over Hundley. Sadly Buck seems to prefer Joseph. So you can't give up much to get him.

Perkins is a reliever and you don't give much for a BP arm.

I'm not sure why the Twins would trade Perkins...cheap and under control. Because your throwing Bundy at them? If so that to steep a price.
