I am completely blown away by how terrible our pitching is at giving up home runs against the Royals. This team has a list a mile long of extremely worrisome and bad signs about their play in the ALCS, but the home runs stick out like a sore thumb. Why is this happening to us? What did we do as a fanbase to deserve this? I can deal with un-clutch ABs, horrific umpiring and defensive gaffes, but I cannot abide a pitching staff that can't keep the ball in the yard against a team that has absolutely no history of hitting the ball that hard, this often. It's worse than frustrating or infuriating. It's embarrassing.
