I'd like to see Schoop elevate his play to the point where the two players will continue to be (favorably) compared in the years to come.

Schoop wasn't barely hanging onto his roster spot, like Britton was in 2013.

We don't know how close he came to getting sent down. Goodness knows there was plenty of folks on this board that wanted him demoted.

There were prolonged stretches were he didn't look like a major league hitter.

I agree with you, the OH armchair GMs did.

Yeah, he has one of the quickest releases and strongest throws to first while turning a double play that I've ever seen.
