It would be a precipitous fall for Alonso into the second round - especially if he continues to hit and hit with power. The odds would be very remote, IMO.

Matt LaPorta was chosen last year at pick #7... not a good defender at 1B, the Brewers took him and moved him to LF because his bat was so good.

Alonso will be viewed in a similar way I imagine. Possibly an AL DH/1B, or a LF/1B in the NL.
