Good list OP. I wanted to hate on Marin but the O's do think highly enough of him to send him to the AFL.

There's a handful of spots on this list where there's a substantial dropoff: from 4 to 5, 10 to 11, 18 to 19, and 31 to 32. You'll note that Marin is no. 32. That's because I think his glove and speed and middle infield position keep his floor relatively high compared to the guys below him.

Funny stuff but at the same time a really spot on view of the farm. Two guys that stand out to me are Kline and Cleavenger. They could keep the experiment with Kline starting going. Cleavinger could get some starts at Delmarva. With the arms that Delmarva is going to have next year I wish we would piggy back for a while like the Astros do. I'd say Kline and Cleavinger could be fast tracked as relievers, but we don't really need that.

I'm a Calvert Hall grad myself, so I'm obviously rooting for Murphy. A healthy, productive season next year would go a long way toward improving his placement on these lists.

Cool - it's a small world sometimes. I remember reading that he used to go to Keys games... when he was young, so I imagine when he makes the Keys roster (hopefully sometime next season - at age 21), it'll be a surreal time for him.

But have you seen the behemoth known as Seamus? No really I want to know what you think?

Only seen him on film, and there's not a ton of that out there, but he's got potential for big power. He's got a lot of work to do on tightening up his swing (especially in the wrists, from what I can tell) but even watching him now it's easy to envision him launching moonshots one day. Or he might never be able to make enough contact.

For what it's worth, the name that comes to mind watching him is Chris Davis. He's got the same kind of loft in his swing. Certainly was never taught to swing down on the ball.
