Spring Training Day Two - DrShorebird report and photos

The players didn't take the field until after 11. They had physicals starting at 9. When the guys did come out they looked sharp in

the new ST uniforms and showed lots of hustle and spirit. It's still a party atmosphere.

Today pitchers did throw to catchers as well as do basic drills. They have added two more infield diamonds (no backstops).

Last night they installed plastic ivy along the sides and pitchers back on the mounds added last year.

The fake ivy also has a green cloth behind it. This is for additional privacy for the pitchers.

Really interested to see how Hardy is doing. I know he says he feels great and is swinging full strength but I want to see the results back that up.
