Any interest in Sabathia?

I would be surprised it the majority of O's fans aren't at least interested in exploring this a bit. You guys do know how bad our rotation is now right?

Obviously, if we have to give up a grade A prospect, I don't think we pull the trigger.

If that's the case, then it's not happening.

The Yankees aren't just going to essentially give away one of their 2 best starting pitchers to a division rival for peanuts, just because we need him.

o

Sabathia has had 4 consecutive bad starts.

In those 4 games, he has ceded 21 earned runs in 23 innings pitched, for an ERA of 8.22.

He ceded 30 hits and 7 walks in those 23 innings, for a WHIP of 1.609.

It's a small sample size, but it was 4 consecutive games.

Definitely changing my stance on Sabathia. Unless it was for Jimenez straight up.

5 consecutive bad/sub-par starts for Sabathia now, although today would probably be described as mediocre (as opposed to flat-out bad, which his 4 previous starts were.)

Today, he ceded 5 runs (4 earned) over 5.33 innings.

He walked 3, struck out 2, and threw 94 pitches (60 strikes, 34 balls.)

Again, it's still a relatively small sample size, but it has been 5 consecutive games in which he has not pitched well in.
