vs. PADRES, 6/29

Yeah I'd like to see a game at Petco if I ever go to San Diego. Definitely not Camden Yards good but it looks better than say Nats Park or the new Yankee Stadium.

Nats Park was really a bit of a disappointment. That stone that's supposed to echo the kind used in the city's structures or monuments really ends up looking industrial instead. And there's not much of a view to anything unless you are standing in the top deck towards the river. The new Yankee Stadium was underwhelming as well. I like that they recreated the old frieze around the roof overhang, but other than that, it seemed to be a watered down ballpark experience. The only thing that really impressed me was the outside of it.

The Drake might make this a ballgame in the bottom of the 9th.

I want to like the guy since he went to Navy, but I think he might just be terrible.

I liked the new Yankee Stadium. But very industrial in the feel. It was like some guys from Jersey came over to build it.
