Back when he could do nothing with the bat at all because he was not prepared for the MLB season properly. So he took some extra time, and adapted, and is now a monster.

Bud Norris sucks. Probably some organization will go for a mega deal based on half a season of passable starts.

Depends how crappy he finishes up in the easy National League.

That's the thing, he'll probably be out of the rotation by August and can nurse his numbers in the bullpen.

Gausman is never going to take that next step until he throws his slider or curve. We really screwed up his development.

He actually threw it, as I've suggested, in consecutive AB to Kendrick then Van Slyke. First pitch get me over variety to Kendrick which he bit on and grounded out. Then, to Van Slyke with two strikes low and away weak liner to SS.

It isn't even an average pitch so he has to use it strategically.

I doubt he cares to much it is not like we mishandled him or got rid of him for no reason. These guys no it is a business and Bud proballly understood why he was let go. He didn't perform so us letting him go was on him.
