If I have it figured, Donnie Hart was probably making about 1500-2000 per month off the 40 man roster while in the minors. At ML minimum of 507,500 annual salary, that works out to about 1400 per day. At 5 days with the Os so far, he gets a paycheck of about 7000 so far through today. Unless, the Os calculate the MLB minimum as being spread out over the workdays of the season which would be 182 days, thus the daily salary in that calculation would be 2788 and Donnie will have made 13,942 through today.

Plus other advantages. It's huge for a minor leaguer to get even a cup of coffee.
