Bundy will finally make his first major league start and is currently on a streak of 14.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen. He is probably not going to go more than five innings and maybe less than that if he gets into jams. He has thrown over 50 pitches only twice this season and both were in the last three appearances where he threw 57 and 56 pitches. Still, it will be interesting to see his first start.

98K / 34BB, 17HR

QS: 6

Last 6 starts (32 IP): (0-2) 6.75 (1.53), 7HR

Odorizzi was having a very good season through June 8th having a 3.47 ERA overall, but has struggled to a 6.75 ERA over his last six starts and has allowed 11 runs in his last 10.1 IP. In three starts against the Orioles this season, he is 0-1 with a 5.63 (1.63/.359). He allowed one run in five innings at the end of April, but the other two starts of 11 innings have seen him yield nine runs on 17 hits including four home runs three of which came in his last start when we swept the Rays in four games.

Odorizzi has fallen off a cliff over the last six starts after being on pace for a very solid season while Bundy will be making his first start of his career and will certainly be on a pitch count. If Bundy does not do well, it's going to put quite a load on our bullpen and he may be a handful of long counts away from being out after four innings anyway.

Boston wins their sixth in a row today while Toronto drops their second in a row to the spoiler A's. So, Boston remains two back while they stomp the Yankees who are still in the WC race only 5.5 back, but time is running out for them to make a move. The Indians and Twins are tied in the ninth as the Twins continue to play well and also seem like they will end up playing spoiler for teams. Texas lost their fourth in a row today as the Cubs continue to take it to them, but Houston also lost 1-0 to Seattle keeping them at 4.5 games back.

Branden Kline, who underwent ligament-reconstructive surgery on his right elbow back on Oct. 8, 2015, is scheduled to throw on Monday.
