No it isn't. Flaherty can play 6 positions and you may need him in a double switch later in this game.

Yes, and Bundy said he had trouble gripping the ball last night. Neither of these guys are used to pitching in warmer weather where it's actually easier to grip a baseball. Like in Colorado pitchers have trouble making the ball move because of the altitude, they don't just stink, it's really a thing.

To some here, these aren't valid points, just excuses. And don't blame the umpire.

Sometimes he is truly to blame. I think he got screwed due to human error and inconsistencies. Just my 2 cents.
