I think he was surging in 2012.

Maybe in the minors, but IMO, 1.2 innings in the bigs as a Sept Call up, is not surging. Again, just my own opinion.

If he does it will be a blessing having him, Tillman and Gausman. All we need is for Wade Miley to not be awful and Gallardo to be serviceable.

I actually hope for more from Ubaldo than Gallardo, although it's not bad to have him as a swing starter or insurance against injuries.

I hope that I am not putting too much into his 11 K outing, but that Miley after Scotty talked to you, was night and day better than what he had been with the team up to that point.

It would be a pretty formidable 4 SP.

I think McGregor should a pitching advisor just because he helped wade.

I think Scotty has done that quietly for a few years now, he has access to the players and the clubhouse.

He said he didnt want to be the official pitching coach, if I was guessing, maybe because of the 81 game travel schedule.
