Tejada wrist fractured

I'm trying to comprehend a scenario where we have Bynum, Fahey, Bako, Gibbons and Patterson all in the same lineup. Is there such a thing as negative OPS?

I joked to my dad the other day, when we had a bottom four of Gibbons, Patterson, Bako, and Bynum, that we were experimenting with a five-man lineup for the game.

I really WASN'T serious. Please?

The thing I'm having trouble understanding is how multiple scans of his hand before today's game didn't reveal anything. Something doesn't add up.

I can't imagine his activity today helped matters at all. I'd really like to see a timeline of how bad the injury was, and when.

Hopefully with colored graphs, like in USA Today. Pretty colors!

Seriously, bro. Do not get in my way when I'm making fun of injured athletes.

Fair enough, but slow down for pete's sake. I can't keep up! (And the watering eyes from LOLing isn't helping matters.)

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to italianstallion again.

"Well, you know guys, what this move allows you to do is to give Tejada some much needed rest, let him rehab, come back in September and give this team a fresh bat for down the stretch. Plus, it allows an opportunity for some playing time to open up for some of the young players on this team who may be able to audition for a bigger role on the team for next season, like Freddy Bynum or Chris Gomez."

The CT was taken before the game so whatever they found was before. He could have made it worse but they won't know that until they take another scan.

Thanks for the info. I just hope he didn't end up making the recovery time much longer than it would have been had he not participated in BP today.

Think of this as a repeated action...
