OFFNY
o Most of your are probably familiar with the Heidi catastrophe of 1968, when a thrilling Jets-Raiders game was cut short in the final minute of the 4th quarter for the newest NBC TV-movie. 49 years later, I was watching the Orioles-Pirates game on the MLB Network. With Mark Trumbo finishing up his plate appearance with 2 outs in the 8th inning, MLB Network switched to the Reds-Cardinals game because Scooter Gennett had already hit 3 home runs, and was coming to home plate for a chance to hit an all-time MLB record-tying 4th round-tripper. Just then ....... MLB network cut off Gennett's plate appearance for a San Giorgio pizza commercial. And sure enough, 5 minutes later, MLB Network showed A REPLAY of Gennett slamming his 4th home run of the game over the rightfield wall. Horrible ........ just horrible. o
