Bombed for 7 ER in 3 IP yesterday.   The Frederick rotation has been a huge disappointment.

Very disconcerting that Akin and Sedlock seem to be going downhill fast.  Some had them as the O's top 2 prospects.  Gotta wonder what's going on there.

Still a little skeptical of Frederick.  All of the hitters are killing it and all of the pitchers are terrible.  Maybe just a SSS coincidence, but my eyebrows are slightly raised.

???  I Imagine it's temporary, maybe to work on his mechanics.  If it was a straight up demotion, you would think Delmarva. 

22 and can't get A ball hitters out.  This guy's prospect status has really taken a hit IMO.

Yeah Aberdeen starts the 19th.

Well, they did skip past Akin, who hasn't pitched since May 22.   I doubt he's going to pitch in Aberdeen, but they clearly wanted him to get a break for whatever reason.

Could this be injury related?  Or maybe just resting to get over a dead arm.  I read reports that he was topping out in the high 80's.  Not sure if accurate.  

He hasn't really been any worse than Sedlock, Gonzalez, or Peralta (they've all been really bad) so you wouldn't think it was performance related.

Good to see the little break did him some good.

He was solid tonight.  Watched him warmup and it was apparent he had his A stuff. He was cruising tonight.  He's a thick kid.  I see him as a power reliever but I'm not a scout.

Thanks for sharing.  If he were to end up as a set up guy that's pretty good value for his draft spot.
