Off Limits?

In your view, are there any Orioles players or prospects that are virtually untouchable in regards to trading them?

I say virtually, because hypothetically any player can be had for an overpay. But reasonably, who has enough value to you to consider them off limits?

I'm adding the 40-man roster as a reference.

I'm not particularly interested in trading any of the prospects.

I'd rather not trade Sisco or Scott since they have at least five years of team control left.

Anyone else, sure.

Yes, those two are keepers. I like Castro's potential, as well.

No. None of them for me either.

If they are going to blow it up, trade anybody and everybody at AA or above...except Hunter Harvey.

Disagree. Prospects are prospects. Just because we don't care for them because they are ours is no reason to swap them out.

It's not that I "don't care for them because they are ours," it is because I want to acquire middle infielders and starters. An everyday Centerfielder, too with a good bat. Other than Harvey, which of our prospects qualifies? If trading Sisco or Mullins or Mountcastle or Mancini or Stewart or Hays helps me do that, then I do it. I am not suggesting we cut those players or give them away for MiL relievers.

I would keep Sisco and anyone else can go.   Other than Bundy and Gausman I dont see anyone really helping us win games going forward.   Unfortunately they are probably are best trade chips.

I don't think any player should be off limits at this point.

I'd be willing to trade Bundy and Gausman if we got a decent return.  Both have been a disappointment overall so its hard to know what they would return.

There are no prospect for prospect trades made.  Now, I am sure you can find one. But no. That's not what teams do.

Spot on.

but we are talking about the Orioles here...so my guess is in the Orioles mind it is Schoop, Mancini, Givens, Scott, Gausman and Bundy.
