Well, at least it sounds justified.    Glad to see he recognized he needed to deal with the issue.   Now, let’s see if it actually helps his pitching.

Yeah, because even at Fan Fest, he was still pretty hefty.

I think you sort out where guys fit on your ML roster AFTER those guys prove they belong on a ML roster. For prospects, unless you have a glut of elite guys, you try to figure out where the individual can be the best he can be. 

I think it's far from certain that any of Diaz, McKenna, Hays, Mountcastle or Mullins will be a first division starter in the majors. They all have a lot to prove, and improve.

Seriously, he's a guy who I can imagine analytics really helping. Has really impressive arm talent. Needs to figure out how to use it. Could be a breakout guy. Could be a bust.
