You weren't alone on Matos.  Peter Gammons said he was going to be a multiple All Star.  I guess you never truly know, but I like what I've seen of Santander, and think he has an excellent chance to stick with the club going forward.

Back in 2009 when I posted at the Baltimore Sun, Luke Scott was thrown out trying to score from 2nd base on a single.

I said ........ "I know it's a lot to ask, but if Scott had made a headfirst, butterfly slide toward the outer portion of the plate, he might have snuck his left hand in there."

 

Another poster responded by saying, "He's Luke Scott, not Willie Mays Hayes."
