Yeah, it's Diaz, Cumberland, and Feliz basically. With a little from Perez and maybe McKenna gets hot or McCoy gets on base.

And McKenna did indeed get hot - with 2 singles and 2 walks - he's Mr. Tablesetter - which would fit what his ultimate role could be for the O's.

No steal attempts for him even though the Baysox stole 3 of 4.

It hurts Bowie that Diaz has to DH, because that keeps Cumberland, who is arguably their second best bat out of the lineup.

He did have a K at a really bad time, w/ Mullins on 3rd and 0 out

Cumberland seems to be a polarizing prospect - going back to when he with the Braves organization.  Good to hear you have some confidence in his hitting ability.

He was always a bat first catcher, if he stays at the position, he'll be the guy you deal with the defense to get the bat.

But the bat has improved, he's gotten more rotational in the swing and it's allowed him to produce similar bats speed without the stiff/high effort swing he used to utilize. That's translated to less swing and miss. I think there was some (warranted) push back against Fangraphs' lofty ranking of him on the O's list.  Then he had a ridiculously poor BABIP in his Orioles debut and missed time this season which has led people to write him off. The bat will play at C, at least in a backup role, if he can stick there. He's a clunkier receiver than Chance Sisco, but is better catch and throw.

Sloppy defense from the Baysox so far. In the first inning, they had a runner out at the plate dead to rights, but Carlos Perez dropped the ball. In the second, Yusniel Diaz couldn't catch a fly ball in foul territory that would've ended the inning, and then Mason McCoy booted a routine grounder to short to let a run score.

Shape up, guys, it's the playoffs!
