I cannot imagine Richard Urena makes the team. His career OPS is .662 in AAA and .652 in AA. .707 OPS with the juiced balls last year in AAA. He is probably a worse hitter than Richie Martin.

That is a good point, but both players are considered to be better with the gloves then with the bat, and Urena Is younger, bigger, which means he’ll have a few inches more range, which might make a difference when diving for a ball, and he’s a switch hitter. Maybe that just means he can be bad from both sides of the plate, but when you’re discussing a defensive back up, switch hitting does provide some more versatility.
