Apparently I was wrong about Trout judging by his heat maps on FanGraphs.  Must’ve been someone else.

I was an hour late starting the game, so I missed a bunch, but the Toronto radio announcers were saying that Akin Had not thrown more than 48 pitches, And today he had thrown 75, and they were wondering why he had not been pulled. That was just before the walk and the double, so I’m not the only person who complains that Hyde leaves his starters in too long.

edit: Hyde leaving Akin in too long is why there were runners on for Alberto’s error.

However, it sure seems like Aiken has done a terrific job, and I really hope that whoever is relieving him doesn’t let the inherited runners score.

They vary from year to year so unless you've been going back and checking each season you could be right.

Wasn’t he considered an elite fielder who couldn’t hit at all when we acquired him?  Funny how inaccurate that was.

I thought it was the high fastball that he didn't hit as well as other areas of the zone.

I went back like 5 or 6 years.  He’s always mashed middle-middle.
