Means, Harvey, and pray for rain?

Wondering how far the O's can go on the shoulders of two dominant starters (if Means and Harvey can fit that bill).

Thinking, for instance, of the iconic duo "Spahn, Sain, and pray for rain"... or Koufax & Drysdale, or the 1987 WS winning Twins with Viola and Blyleven and little else... other examples? Is it too outlandish to dream such a scenario?

Yeah, I think you're getting a little carried away.  

But at least it looks like, for now anyway, that we've got two starters that really give us a shot to win each time out.

Tougher to do in the days of five man rotations and six inning starts.   But the Randy Johnson/Curt Schilling D-Backs come to mind.

Not likely to get much help from the weather the next three days.  Can't recall the last time there was a rainout in Oakland, and T-Mobile Park in Seattle has a retractable roof.

I have been attached to Harvey since the day that he signed a Minor League contract with the Orioles in March, and I had a sense that he would surprise everyone (which he has.) And I will continue to stay attached to him until the very minute that the Orioles announce that they have traded him.
