Conner Greene gets the call.

Charlie Sheen taught Conner Greene all he knows!  (#Major League) ⚾ :new_beer:Note:  they are both actors and he hails from Santa Monica!

"Being a professional ballplayer has always been my dream," says Greene. "My ambition is to not only be known as a great pitcher, but as an above average hitter as well."

While applying his baseball talent and skill in hopes of a career in the Major Leagues, Greene is simultaneously fielding offers from the entertainment industry and several high profile modeling agencies including Ford and Wilhelmina.

Greene appeared in television commercials as a youngster and was recently featured in several episodes of the hit FOX-TV comedy series "Anger Management." He was also profiled as "one to watch" on the entertainment TV show "EXTRA."

Clearly, Greene is as comfortable in front of a camera as he is on the pitching mound.

That's pretty cool. Sad to say I don't think his time in MLB will delay his acting career much. Hope I'm wrong there.

    • We have no idea if an in division trade is even feasible. I feel like trading for Kikuchi is doing a deal just to make a deal.   I actually feel like he’s better suited to be a guy to put in the pen.
    • The Dodgers but Friedman recently made a comment to the effect of the Dodgers primarily being interested in acquiring star players vs. marginal upgrades.
    • We're working this with our ad provider. One potential fix is to clear your browser cache so the changes they make will work. Our apologies for the inconvenience.  BTW, there is a forum to report this kind of stuff called OH, Information and Feedback to report this kind of stuff. Thanks.
    • Anything is possible at this point because there is still so much that we do not know that is transpiring behind the scenes. We've still got a little more than a week to see how this all unfolds. It will probably come down to the 29th or even the 30th before the dust really settles and Elias does whatever he decides to do.
    • Who else is a better fit and available than Kikuchi is?  We need a LH SP.  If not then I prefer Fedde. Skubal - Gonna cost way too much Crochet - See above Snell - is he even available? Tyler Anderson - is he better than Kikuchi? Heaney - that’s an interesting name
    • I think many on here are really overrating Kukuchi.
    • The trade value ascribed to Tarik Skubal on BTV is through the roof and if the Orioles were to meet it in terms of prospects from their system per the BTV metric, the Orioles players would be deeply discounted and Skubal (despite methodology that indicates they account for injury) would be essentially priced for Cy Young performance over the next 2.5 years. Everything about this trade runs against the Orioles from the perspective of peak value: --Skubal is valued at a historically highest level --Orioles prospects are discounted for current AAA or AA status --Orioles are trading position players (mostly) for a pitcher which is not the risk dynamic desired By their methodology, Skubal is worth a package of something like: Norby, McDermott, Holliday, and Beavers.  An alternative posted on the site is Skubal for Kjerstad, Basallo, McDermott.  First of all, I don't believe there is a team that can put together that package of prospects other than the Orioles, (the Dodgers might be able to take some significant amount of salary dump). If it's Holliday straight up for Skubal, I'm passing. Here's the scary thing about the reports of the Tigers scout watching the Norfolk games...the thing they can't easily get from statcast is how Holliday looks throwing since his return.
