Yeah I don’t know how someone can complain about an OF w a 4 WAR player and a probable 5 WAR player (Hays).  I had Mullins down for a 750ish OPS this year.  He was never going to repeat 2021.

In my preseason poll, a majority of posters put Mullins in the .820+ category.

The majority of posters probably didn't have the league wide OPS dropping by .34 points though

Maybe next year I’ll use OPS+ instead to avoid the yearly fluctuations in league wide OPS.

At this point it’s almost laughable when people run on him. His arm is crazy good and accuracy is almost always on point.

Also, how about that diving catch?   This guy has so many ways to help win a game.

What an unbelievable catch by Hays! That was amazing and it saved a run or two from getting on the board. If he didn't make that catch, Chicago may have gained momentum, but Hays completely denied them. 

He also gunned a guy down at the plate with a sensational throw. Hays is definitely the Orioles All-Star and maybe they get Lopez in as well?

The throw was great, the catch was incredible. Although I held my breath for a moment when he got up from the dirt and inspected his hand. He’s really putting in overtime on his ASG campaign reel.

I don’t see Hays going to the AS game unless his numbers get better and a guy like Lopez gets worse.
