You look at that A's lineup without the Matt's and think, "Gosh they are terrible".  However, they've scored well over twice as many runs as us so far (53 vs 21).  Let's correct that SSS anomoly this series.

This is Oakland's home opener.  Guess that's why first pitch is delayed 7 minutes, must have been ceremonies.

So the second baseman Neuse's name is pronounced "noisy".  At least that's how Kevin Brown said it, and whatever criticism I might have if him, I'm pretty sure he is a guy who does his research on stuff like that and gets it right.

We have the strike zone box.  MASN didn't have it for the TB series but did for the homestand.  Guess they decided to spend the money to send the box on the road this time.

That's crazy that this is their home opener. Who made a schedule with a team with a ten game road trip to start the season? Awful.
