When you use the term "can't catch a break", it doesn't mean that 100% because it's an expression.  I'm saying look at the offense.  Yes they should have been better, but the amount of bad luck they've had is pretty bad.  The A's meanwhile have lead the league in RISP.  And there's another, not even hit hard, just in the right place.  That's mainly luck.

I don't know.  I just don't get complaining about bad breaks on offense when the pitching has been so much better than we have any reason to expect.

It's baseball, stuff happens.  I don't think the O's are more or less unlucky than anyone else.

Sorry for calling out the comment when it was just game thread venting.
