You don't think he'll go to AAA after Bowie? I feel like that's the plan.

Why bother? Most rehab assignments go through one or at most two affiliates. No reason to waste his time in transit back and forth to Norfolk.

The Yankees don’t come to town until the 16th.

Bowie is home until the 10th.

Norfolk starts a 6 game home stand on the 10th.

Lines up perfectly to have him here on the 16th. He’ll have plenty of exposure at each level.

He's a minor league player on rehab.  When he gets done with his rehab me might very well be assigned to Norfolk.

We'll see. Service time is no longer an issue. Elias has said he was under consideration to make the opening day roster if not for the injury. Said the only thing preventing him from making his debut was getting his timing back. To me that does not take 3 weeks and doesn't require progressing through all three levels.

We'll see.  Super two could be in play.

I thought he would be in Baltimore around the beginning of May.  There isn’t much reason for him to still be in the minors.

If he is down there for multiple more weeks, I think they tells you that they do care about service time in that they are trying to make it harder for him to place high in ROY by giving him less playing time.

They are treating him like some fragile high school player.  It’s really over the top.
