Also Vavra batting fifth wow. Guess we needn’t worry about him being out of the lineup at this point !  Hyde had good things to say about him in recent Roch posts also. 
 

now to get him at 2nd base. I have to think they are concerned with the arm strength.

Austin Hays needs to go on the IL if he's going to be sitting out every game. Get Stowers bat in the lineup, I'm not a fan of the bottom third of the lineup right now.

Is this why we got Phillips? Did they know Hays was hurting and they didn't want to commit to McKenna or Diaz playing regularly?

I had the same thought. Very suspicious that something is up with Hays and all of a sudden a depth move makes a lot of sense.
