So is Matt Harvey.  But there he is in extended ST in Sarasota.  

T Wells, Grayson and DL are all on innings limits for this season.  Come August and Sept the O's will be hunting for starters that can give them innings.

The questions are does Elias think his staff can fix Keuchel and will Keuchel get a better offer?

The question of do the 2022 Orioles need pitchers like this to accumulate 1450 innings I think goes up and down mostly with can Bruce Zimmermann and Tyler Wells actually make it a season as rotation regulars?

I'd enjoy him as a test case of can Orioles analysts get more mileage out of him than White Sox analysts.    White Sox pitching to me is Garrett Crochet, early Dylan Cease, and Lucas Giolito having to go back to his high school coach.

What's the upside?

He's not a long term solution, he won't generate trade value and if he's called up it will cause someone to be pulled from the 40 and he'll get innings that should be going to a younger pitcher.

At this stage of the rebuild he makes no sense.
